Our school is a community - oriented and multicultural folk high school in the immigrant dense north-eastern Gothenburg. The school is founded by Finnish immigrants and it is open to all.
The language of instruction is mainly Swedish, the school also has courses where various minority languages are used as working languages, currently Finnish, Somali and Kurdish.
Activity aims to strengthen minority and immigrant communities and increase their influence in Swedish society. The school has also short courses in art and language.
Besides public education activities are also a qualified training with psychiatry and ethno-cultural profile. Being multicultural is an asset but is also a challenge.
In school there are plenty of cultural competence, a diversity of skills, experiences, perspectives and endless opportunities for meetings of social and ethnic boundaries. We are proud and want to develop it further.
